Biography

new-bio-photoI started photographing with my grandfather, as my mentor, when I was 13 years old and have not put the camera down since.

Originally from Chicago, IL I graduated from Columbia College in 2007 with a BA in photography.

I am a self-employed freelance photographer and have worked on advertising, communication, commercial, and editorial photoshoots. I have 8 years of experience in product and wardrobe styling.

I started working with film doing black and white, color processing, Polaroids, and much more. In the last five years I have primarily focused on digital due to modernization.

Currently I spend most of my year in Costa Rica. I love to travel for work, as well as pleasure. I enjoy every genre of photography and don’t like to limit myself to just one type.

I photograph any and everything. All the way from architecture, to food, product, weddings, portraits, landscape and nature. I love to photograph all these subjects both professionally and for pleasure

At the moment, one of my personal projects is photographing bugs. Yes, you heard it right, the creepy crawly things that most people hate, I find fascinating and very artistic.

I hope you enjoy my photographic work, which is largely my life.
Thank you and Pura Vida!
